Input Text

Input Text type is used to create simple and single text field for user input, input can be any type it is an open tag and used in form to collect user data.

Syntax

<input type=text />

You can use text field any where within an HTML document.

Input is unpair tag and output of text field is user data like you can see in above example.

Practice Task

Open notepad or any other text editor, follow the following points.

• Create one text field for any data
• Now add submit button of type=submit
• Use <br /> to separate input fields on new line

save file with name task.html or task.htm and then open it using any browser and see results.

Don't forget input is empty element which means it always comes in single not in pair.
